Frequently Asked Questions
How long will my repair/service take?
We repair most devices within 1-2 hours, depending on the problem and our part stock. If we need to order parts, then we can normally get these next day delivery. We understand how difficult being without your phone can be, and we will always try to get it back to you as quickly as possible.
How much will my repair cost me?
We will always offer you a fixed price for the repair, for example if your phone screen needs replacing, we will give you a total price for the work before starting. In the event we need to diagnose an issue first, we charge $20 fee, which is waived if you go ahead with the repair. We don’t want you to have any nasty surprises; we want you to know exactly what your repair will cost before we complete the work. In the event an additional part is needed, we will contact you with an updated cost before completing the repair.
I forgot my phone passcode! Can you get me back in?
Unfortunately, we will have to factory reset the phone, which deletes everything off of the phone, but also removes the passcode. If there is an iCloud or Google account on the device, you will have to know that information in order to use the device again. There is no way to bypass this.
Will erasing my iPhone/iPad remove the Apple ID?
It will not. The Apple ID, or iCloud account, will usually remain on the device if the phone is erased. This is to allow the phone to be tracked remotely if stolen. Unfortunately, there is no way to remove the iCloud/Apple ID without knowing the account information on the device. In some cases, the passcode can be used to get back into the device once reset, but not always.
Can you replace cracked/damaged laptop screens?
Absolutely, we repair laptop screens all the time and it’s much cheaper than buying a new laptop. Contact Us for a quick quote!
I’m worried about my data, is it safe?
We will always take great care in looking after your data. We conform to the Data Protection Act, and any data we hold is held in strict confidence. We always advise, if possible, for you to backup any data on your computer prior to any work being undertaken. We can discuss any backup options with you if needed.
Common repairs, such as battery and screen repairs, do not delete any data.
